Fashion&Dance

In the last few days it has been all about fashion and dancing! Did you get the vibe? I did! Everywhere I looked, I’ve been finding videos of models and couturiers awkwardly dancing unsynchro and professional dancers dancing trough 100 years of fashion.

Lanvin‘s campaign is brilliant in its simplicity and for not taking it too seriously. The beauties Karen Elson and Raquel Zimmermann and two male models are dancing to the song “I know you want me” by Pitbull wearing amazing clothes from Lanvin’s Fall collection like they are getting dressed (and all excited) for a night of clubbing. At the end the surprise appearance of designer Alber Elbaz dancing between the male models and trying to overshadow them is funny and cute.

The 100 years of fashion in 100 seconds is a promotional video too, for the Westfield Stratford City, Europe’s largest urban shopping centre opening 13 September 2011.

So, it looks like fashion+dancing=brilliant match.

Let’s see if someone else is going to follow the lead.
