5 New Things from 2012

to bring into 2013.

One I’ll definitely keep all my life. One is a thing everybody had already, and now I have it too. Two are discoveries I’ve made: they were already there, I just didn’t knew about them. Last one I was skeptical about, but now I love it.

Did you find out which is which?

Left to right: Haruki Murakami‘s Norwegian Wood. Although deeply depressing, kept me eagerly reading it to the end. A friend recommended Kafka On The Shore as one of her favorite books swearing it is much more cheerful. So, my resolution for 2013 is to get to know Murakami better.

My new smartphone. Yes, I didn’t own one until 2012. I’ve survived. And now I’m happy to join you, normal people.

The eyebrow pencil. I didn’t know how much I needed it until I tried it on. For the first few days it looked odd, but now I can’t leave the house without its final touch to my routine make up.

Handmade soap. I’m not that into organic stuff but these soaps are good moisturizers and the scent is usually very delicate, not at all overwhelming. In 2013 I’m planning to put aside all industrial soaps and maybe even shower gels and stick to organic handmade soaps.

My wedding ring. Nothing more to add.

Fall Preview

When Vogue’s August issue arrives I always try to ignore it and let it lay somewhere, unread, as long as possible. I know it’s stupid, but watching those shootings full of fur coats and cashmere dresses while I’m in my bikini all day, just depresses me.

But now it’s been raining all day, and as I cannot go the beach I thought that at least I could make the best out of this lousy day catching up with next season’s trends. Here’s a selection of what I found interesting on the web. All of the clothes below are available for online shopping. Enjoy!

White Dress

What’s better than a white dress in a sunny day or a hot night? It’s a day&night passepartout!

Bone bangle, belt, headband: Accessorize
What do you think?
Do you like the match white/leather or white/bright colors for the day and white/blue or white/silver for the night?
Let me know in the comments!

A Romantic Touch

>romantic mood

Blouse: Van Bery
Wish I could wear clothes like these every day. Feels like they are intended for a dreamy girl, deeply in love, with glossy hair… no, wait: that was the Miss Dior Chérie commercial.
Anyway, I did this collage ’cause I wanted to share with all of you romantic girls two brands I’m sure you’ll love as much as I do: the Swiss Van Bery and the Italian Mauro Leone.
Next week I’m going to raid Mauro Leone’s store in Turin! Hope to do the same to Van Bery’s soon!
